Last Indoor Saturday Market of the Season!

vegetarian-indian-mulligatawny-soup-3

Please come celebrate the end of our Saturday indoor markets tomorrow! We are so grateful to the Irvington community for supporting our market and our vendors through the winter season. We are excited for summer market Opening Day on June 4th, but until then come and stock up on market staples.

Helping celebrate is chef Marti Wolfson back for another cooking demonstration. We can’t wait to see-and taste-what she comes up with. Marti shops the market and makes dishes using ingredients available at the market that day. Stop by and try some of her delicious samples!

The Irvington Tree Preservation Commission will also be at the market to distribute seedlings generously donated by Bartlett Tree Experts. Come by to pick up yours!

Matt will be on hand to sharpen not only knives but also lawn mower blades, shears, and more. Make sure you’re ready for gardening season.

Did you know that Spoon Me Soups lasts weeks in your freezer and is an easy dinner that only requires you to remember to defrost. Try their mulligatawny soup, a traditional Indian curry soup. Serve with naan and a simple salad (definitely dressed with one of Momo’s fresh dressings)

Southtown Farms meat can also be frozen-stock up on your favorite sausages, pork chops, and ground beef. The same goes for Stone & Thistle Farm and FarmEats. They’d be happy to give you best practices for storing meat for the next few weeks.

See you at the market!
